Shenzhang Biotown, China

At the request of the local government HOSPER is involved in the development of the waterfront of a new city in China. Shenzhang Biotown, four hundred kilometers northeast of Beijing, will accommodate half a million inhabitants and is situated along a river.

HOSPER has been asked to work with Frontier Design to develop proposals for the design of the public space along the river. A linear park with a length of fourteen kilometers will contain sport- and cultural programs, bicycle and walking paths, promenades and beaches.
